D'arcy Christensen was born in Ocean Falls in 1929. He purchased the AC Christensen general store from his father in the '60s and ran it for over three decades. In the '70s he bought a plane, got a license to fly and became the only flying fur buyer in the region. He now lives in Williams Lake, BC.
